I find to size down rather than up if you’re s half size has been true for me and my husband. On the whole I find all the sizing of Muck Boots is completely random so you’re lucky if you find a pair that fits correctly. My husbands size 8’s have twisted on the sole too, but I can’t be bothered to contact them again. naturally I don’t expect a response and I will be returning mine. I wrote back to say that it was clearly an issue with the labelling as they were much too big for a 7. they emailed me back to say there are variations in sizes across styles (they were all the same shoe!!) and that it was a sizing issue (ie they were just too big for me), and so I’d have to pay the return postage. I was hoping to get a replacement 7 so I could try them for size, so I took some photos, emailed customer service and asked for a returns label.

The 6’s were a bit snug for me but the 7’s were like boats they were even too big for my husband who said they were comparable to the 9’s. I should’ve learned my lesson about buying from them at this point, but I made the mistake of buying some lace up trainers for me and my husband - same style but 6&7 in women’s and 8&9 in mens. My second pair also started leaking :-( I was advised to buy some glue - not quite what you expect after a couple of months. My first pair - duck lace ups - were my favourite pair, but they started leaking in water after only 5 months :-( thankfully I bought this pair on Amazon so I didn’t have to deal with Muck Boots themselves (they don’t uphold the warranty on anything bought from a third party). As well, we are not responsible for the loss or damage of return shipments, so we suggest that you package your return shipment protectively and send by registered mail or courier.I have several pairs of Muck Boots and some in a size 6 and some a size 7 as there is no consistency in their sizing, but if you contact them for advice on sizing, they are less than helpful.
